Batteria Backline is a drum rental service providing a curated collection of new and vintage drum kits in Asheville, NC.

Owner, Thom Nguyen is an experimental percussionist originally from Oxford, Mississippi. His recent projects include free jazz duo, Manas with guitarist, Tashi Dorji; psychedelic rock band, Nest Egg; and folk projects, House and Land and Sarah Louise. He lives in Asheville, North Carolina, enjoys refurbishing vintage drum kits and collecting items that make cool sounds from thrift shops.
